The Forum for Sustainable Palm Oil (FONAP) has become an affiliate member of the Sustainable Coconut Partnership (SCP), thereby strengthening cooperation for more sustainable and responsible global agricultural supply chains.
FONAP brings together companies, civil society organisations and public institutions committed to greater sustainability in palm oil supply chains. Through the new affiliate membership in the Sustainable Coconut Partnership, FONAP is extending its engagement to a related commodity sector with similar challenges and potential in the area of sustainability.
The partnership aims to promote the exchange of best practices, strengthen cross-sector dialogue and support greater coherence in approaches to sustainable and deforestation-free supply chains.
