Land conflicts, exploitative labor conditions, gender-based violence, and the displacement of communities are still prevalent across key producing regions. The complexity and opacity of palm oil supply chains often delay or obscure this information from companies, regulators, and civil society actors further downstream.  <\/p><p data-start=\"675\" data-end=\"926\">This project acknowledges that existing mitigation strategies frequently fall short \u2014 they are too far removed from ground realities, overly theoretical, or designed without the perspectives of those most impacted.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-610232c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"610232c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Towards Actionable Due Diligence\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10880c1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"10880c1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"72\" data-end=\"692\">By generating collective intelligence \u2014 shared knowledge built on collaboration, trust, and to be initiated dialog with affected communities \u2014 this initiative helps FONAP members better understand where and how to act.
